TMG Signs 5-Year SAP Deal to Deploy Business AI at Enterprise Scale

One of Egypt's largest real estate developers is betting on SAP Business AI to transform its operations across communities serving 1.5 million residents.
Egypt's Talaat Moustafa Group Holding (TMG) has signed a five-year strategic agreement with SAP, deploying the "RISE with SAP" cloud platform together with SAP Business AI. The deal transitions the real estate developer from a conventional ERP environment into a data- and AI-driven enterprise, with the stated goal of automating repetitive tasks, accelerating decision-making, and improving service quality across TMG's urban communities.
The agreement was signed by Ahmed Abdallah, TMG's Deputy EVP of Information Technology, and Augusta Spinelli, SAP's Regional President for EMEA.
Key Takeaways
- SAP Business AI goes into production at enterprise scale: TMG will use SAP Business AI to redesign operational processes, automate tasks, and generate real-time AI-driven recommendations for community service management, covering over 1.5 million residents.
- A 20-year relationship moving to the cloud: TMG first adopted SAP in 2006. This agreement marks its shift to cloud ERP under RISE with SAP, including integrated cybersecurity and continuous innovation services.
- Implementation by a long-term SAP partner: Certified IT Consultants (CIC) will execute the rollout, continuing their role from all prior TMG digital transformation phases since 2006.
The deal illustrates a clear pattern in enterprise AI adoption: established, asset-heavy businesses with large operational footprints are turning to business AI not as a pilot project, but as a core infrastructure investment.
