SEI Partners With Zocks to Bring AI Workflow Automation to Financial Advisors

SEI (NASDAQ: SEIC), a wealth management platform headquartered in Oaks, Pennsylvania, has announced a strategic partnership with Zocks, an AI assistant designed for financial advisors. The deal adds Zocks to SEI's advisor services ecosystem, a network of third-party technology providers available to SEI's advisory firm clients at discounted pricing.
Zocks automates a set of repetitive administrative tasks that consume advisor time: meeting preparation and notes, client follow-up, CRM and financial-planning software updates, client onboarding, form processing, and client intelligence workflows. The platform converts information from client conversations into structured data that can feed into subsequent workflow steps.
Erich Holland, head of SEI's U.S. Wealth and Advisor Business, described the partnership as reflecting a shift already underway in the advisory space. "Advisors are moving beyond AI curiosity and looking for practical ways to embed intelligent automation into the workflows that matter most to their businesses," he said.
Shauna Mace, head of Practice Management and Independent Advisor Solutions at SEI, emphasized implementation as the key variable. "AI has the potential to transform the advisor operating model, but successful adoption starts with thoughtful implementation," she said, noting that Zocks would help firms evaluate the technology against their existing teams, workflows, and growth objectives.
Jim Hardeman, executive vice president of product at Zocks, said the partnership is designed to help advisors streamline meeting workflows, improve data quality, and increase capacity for client relationships.
The partnership also includes plans for joint advisor education, webinars, thought leadership content, and practice-management programming focused on identifying AI use cases within advisory firms. SEI separately described the Zocks addition as part of its broader push toward an "AI-native" operating model.
