ServiceNow and Google Cloud Connect Agentic AI to Industry Workflows

ServiceNow and Google Cloud expanded their partnership, connecting ServiceNow's industry-specific workflows to Gemini Enterprise for the first time. The integration lets enterprise employees trigger multi-step actions in ServiceNow systems using Gemini Enterprise as a single conversational interface.

The partnership connects ServiceNow's Action Fabric, which carries operational context for industries including retail, telecom, and IT, directly into Gemini Enterprise. Mutual customers can now use Gemini to execute complex workflows without switching applications, whether they are a headquarters employee, a field technician, or a retail store associate.

Initial integrations span four areas: retail store operations for diagnosing equipment failures and dispatching technicians; telecom service management for automating case triage and billing inquiries; customer relationship management for managing deals and generating quotes in natural language; and IT service management for resolving incidents and managing infrastructure alerts. The retail and CRM integrations are generally available now; the telecom integration is expected in early 2027. New integrations will be available in Google Cloud Marketplace.

"Conversational AI is only as useful as the action it drives," said John Aisien, SVP at ServiceNow, describing the goal as turning AI conversation into completed work.

Key Takeaways

  • Gemini Enterprise can now trigger ServiceNow workflows across retail, telecom, IT, and CRM, bringing agentic action to employees in their existing AI assistant.
  • Retail and CRM integrations are live now; telecom follows in early 2027, with more industries expected.
  • Enterprise security and governance are maintained through existing ServiceNow and Google Cloud controls, with integrations available via Google Cloud Marketplace.
