Inside the GCC's $150 Billion AI Race: What It Means for Global Strategy

The Gulf Cooperation Council is not waiting for AI to mature. It is betting $150 billion on becoming one of the world's dominant AI economies and the pace of execution is outrunning most Western timelines.

The numbers are striking. UAE AI adoption more than doubled from 10% in 2023 to 27% in 2024, then surged to 56% in 2025.
